CAG conference issues 10-point ‘Rara Declaration’

The 8th National Conference of Chief Attorneys General (CAG) from all seven provinces, held in the Rara Lake area, a premier tourist destination in Karnali Province, has issued a 10-point ‘Rara Declaration.’ The conference, organized by the Office of the Chief Attorney General of Karnali Province and concluded on Friday, issued this declaration with the objective of strengthening the constitutional and legal rights of the provinces and enhancing the effectiveness of the federal governance system.

According to Sarvaraj Joshi, the Chief Attorney General of Karnali Province, the declaration includes provisions for establishing a ‘Forum of Chief Attorneys General,’ monitoring the implementation of provincial laws, and further strengthening the functions, duties, and authority of the Chief Attorneys General.
