Homestays offer hospitality, organic food

By Nabaraj Nepali,Baglung, Nov. 7: Warm hospitality, panoramic mountain views and traditional local cuisine are the major attractions of the Atithi Satkar Community Homestay in Bhakunde, Baglung. Its organic food, rural lifestyle and welcoming atmosphere have been attracting both domestic and foreign tourists.

Foreign visitors have started arriving at the community homestay in Bhakunde, located in Baglung Municipality-10. As the first homestay village in Baglung district, Bhakunde offers visitors an opportunity to experience rural life while enjoying spectacular views of the Himalayan range. Earlier this week, six foreign tourists from the United States and the United Kingdom spent three days at the homestay, enjoying the village's natural beauty, local culture and traditional food before returning.

According to homestay operator Yam Thapa, tourists from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Australia and the United States, among other countries, have been visiting the village.
