Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife, Mary Beth, have reached a major milestone with their non-profit organisation, Show Hope. The charity's adoption grants have now helped more than 10,000 children across 65 countries find permanent families. The couple started the organisation in 2003 with a simple goal of helping 100 children find loving homes.
Twenty-three years later, Show Hope has gone far beyond what they first hoped to achieve. According to announcements published by JubileeCast and the Gospel Music Association, the milestone comes alongside a new song release from Chapman titled "10,000 Reasons/Greater Things". The song is scheduled to be released on Friday, 7 November 2026.
It brings together the well-known worship song with Chapman's thanks for the families supported by the charity over the past two decades.Milestone linked to musical release and Nashville benefitTo celebrate helping 10,000 children and mark National Adoption Month, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville is hosting a special benefit concert.
