3rd International Mathematics Education Conference to be held in Kathmandu from November 27

Photo: Unsplash Kathmandu, November 4 The third edition of the International Mathematics Education Conference will be held in Kathmandu from November 27. Organised by the Mathematics Education Council Nepal and Tribhuvan University’s Central Department of Mathematics Education, the conference will take place from November 27 to 29 Representatives from 11 countries, including Nepal, will take part in the conference at Tribhuvan University Central Campus in Kirtipur.

According to Dr Ramesh Prasad Awasthi, president of the Mathematics Education Council Nepal, national and international professors, teachers, students, teacher trainers, university lecturers, researchers, curriculum experts, education practitioners and mathematics specialists will attend from Nepal, India, China, the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia. Awasthi said the conference will discuss the present state, challenges and prospects of mathematics education, based on human creativity, digital innovation and artificial intelligence (AI).
