VIJAYAWADA BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav has submitted a representation to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, detailing the extensive devastation caused across several districts by two successive natural disasters — Severe Cyclonic Storm Arnab (October 26 to 28) and Severe Cyclonic Storm Murasu (November 2 to 4).
In a letter on Thursday, Mr. Madhav, while expressing sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Home Affairs for promptly despatching a Central team to assess the impact of Cyclone Arnab, noted that the subsequent onslaught of Cyclone Murasu severely aggravated the situation and compounded losses.
