UML lawmaker writes to PM Balen, urges him to prioritise action over political statements

PM Balen Shah Kathmandu, November 4 CPN-UML lawmaker Sajida Khatun Siddiqui has written a letter to Prime Minister Balendra Shah through a parliamentary committee, urging him to address growing public concerns and prioritise concrete action over political statements. Siddiqui read the letter during a meeting of the House of Representatives’ Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee. “Prime Minister, today I want to express my concern about the future of the country and its people and make a heartfelt appeal to you.

Running a country is not possible through social media statements and promises alone. It requires responsible leadership, a clear action plan, foresight and timely decisions,” she said. She said the overall situation in the country had recently been marked by confusion, instability and uncertainty across various sectors.

“The growing concern and sense of insecurity among ordinary citizens should not be taken lightly,” she said.
