Research papers by city doctor selected for IOACON award

VISAKHAPATNAM Seven scientific research papers submitted by Professor & Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Apollo Hospitals, Dr. Abdul D Khan, have been accepted for presentation under the Dr. KP Srivastava Medal Award category at the Indian Orthopaedic Association Annual Conference (IOACON), scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad in December.

The Indian Orthopedic Association’s Scientific Committee officially communicated the acceptance through a letter. The papers focus on the two-year follow-up outcomes of various advanced arthroscopic procedures involving the knee and shoulder, including meniscal repair, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and rotator cuff repair.
