Avadi, Tambaram police destroy over 1.7 tonnes of ganja

CHENNAI The Avadi and Tambaram City Police on Friday destroyed over 1.7 tonnes of ganja, besides narcotic tablets, heroin, methamphetamine, ganja chocolates, and gutkha products seized in various cases. The Avadi City Police destroyed 906.654 kg of ganja, 3,820 narcotic tablets, 10 ganja chocolates, and 2,685 kg of gutkha and other tobacco products, seized in 190 cases registered across the Commissionerate limits.
