Anakapalli Collector reviews arrangements for ZPTC, MPTC polls

ANAKAPALLI Anakapalli District Collector Vijaya Krishnan on Wednesday directed officials to ensure a smooth, transparent, and flawless arrangements for the distribution of election materials for the upcoming Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) elections. Addressing a review meeting with district officials at the Collectorate on Wednesday, Ms.

Vijaya Krishnan said that dedicated distribution centres had been established in every division of the district. Polling personnel would receive ballot boxes, voting kits, and essential election materials directly from these designated hubs.

To prevent any untoward incidents, the administration has put in place a three-tier police security arrangement alongside continuous CCTV surveillance at all the distribution centres and strongrooms. Special route officers and dedicated transport vehicles have been assigned to each mandal to ensure polling staff and equipment reach the polling stations without delay.
