BENGALURU Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Friday alleged that some BJP leaders were trying to take credit for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bengaluru on November 13 to inaugurate the metro Pink Line, even though he was arriving on the official invitation of the State government.
Without taking the name of BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, the Chief Minister alleged that some BJP leaders were trying to take publicity by claiming that they were responsible for the Prime Minsiter’s proposed visit. Speaking to media persons in Kanakapura, he wondered why the BJP leaders were tying to take publicity for this event though they had nothing to do with it.
“We are developing metro network by borrowing money. I will present some of these issues before the Prime Minister on November 13,” he said.
